Catch up with Broadcast Leadership Training (BLT) participant Cathy Cangiano (BLT 2021) as she highlights her favorite lesson of BLT so far and what she hopes to see in the future of broadcasting.
As a 2021 Technology Ambassador, what has been your favorite lesson so far? ?
As a 2021 Technology Ambassador, my favorite lesson so far has been the AWS Cloud Practitioner course because I felt it provided the most valuable information regarding both my interests and what I want to pursue for my career.
2. As you learn more about the broadcasting industry, what elements of this industry inspire you?
One thing I have noticed in the broadcasting industry is just how much camaraderie there is between the people inside the industry. Everyone appears to be friends and have the utmost respect for one another.
3. The NAB Leadership Foundation works with current and aspiring leaders to build the future of broadcasting. What technology excites you about the future of broadcasting?
I believe broadcasting has only scratched the surface of what can be achieved with artificial intelligence and machine learning. In the future we might see televisions with machine learning built into the design that might allow television networks to broadcast ultra-high-definition picture without breaking the bank.
