NAB Show Career Day Offers Professional Image Consultation to Interested Job Seekers

WASHINGTON, DC --The NAB Education Foundation, in partnership with the Broadcast Education Association (BEA) and Radio Television Digital News Association (RTDNA), will hold a Dress for Success Image Consultation during Career Day. Sponsored by Edge Technology Services, Career Day will be held in the Las Vegas Hilton Ballroom C on Wednesday, April 14 during the 2010 NAB Show.

Career Day brings job seekers and students together for valuable insight and information intended for successful entry into the job market," said NABEF President Marcellus Alexander. "This year, we're also looking forward to providing helpful tips on the jobseeker's professional image and showing the overall importance it serves during their job search."

The event will feature advice from Image Consultant Laura Rubeli, who will be on hand to provide tips and mini professional style consultations for job seekers.

Career Day will also include a Career Advising and Career Services Center, which will help give job seekers one-on-one career coaching led by Patty Kincaid, Director of New Business Development from the Media Staffing Network and David Brownstein from Hollywood Coaching.

Designed for experienced professionals, college students and entry-level job seekers, Career Day will include professionals from a variety of broadcast and media companies, including Univision, ESPN, Ericsson Television Inc., Entercom Communications Corp, Citadel Communications Co., Ltd., CNN/Turner Broadcasting Systems, Bonneville International, Hubbard Broadcasting, Inc., PBS, Freedom Broadcasting and Beasley Broadcast Group, among many others.
