Applications Available for Broadcast Leadership Training Program

WASHINGTON, DC - The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) is accepting applications for the 2010 Broadcast Leadership Training program (BLT). The program, now in it's tenth year, guides participants through the process of assessing, purchasing, owning and operating radio and television stations.

This year's program will expand training opportunities for former BLT graduates, in addition to providing sessions for new participants seeking career advancement as group executives or station owners. The MBA-style program is geared toward senior level broadcast managers, and will be taught by broadcasters, FCC staff, communications attorneys, members of the Wall Street and banking community and academic faculty from leading universities. As part of the program, students will have the opportunity to speak with former graduates and learn how they achieved their career goals through the lessons they learned in the BLT program.

The training will begin in September and will include sessions in November, February, April and June. Each session is four days in length, starting on Thursdays and ending Sunday afternoons. For the application and additional information, click here or contact Michelle Duke at 202-429-5361.
