WASHINGTON, DC - The NAB Education Foundation has launched a new internship program specifically geared toward aspiring professionals in broadcast technology and engineering fields. Ten college seniors and recent college graduates were selected to participate in the program. Funded and coordinated by NABEF, the eight-week paid internship program will give students an opportunity to serve in technology and engineering at local radio and television stations.
The program is designed to reinforce the broadcast industry's diversity efforts by increasing the number of women and people of color entering the broadcast engineering field. Students will gain experience with hands-on training, exposure, and networking opportunities and build a greater understanding of broadcast technology.
