WASHINGTON, DC - The NAB Education Foundation (NABEF) announced today eight fellowship recipients to attend the NAB Executive Development Program for Radio Broadcasters (EDP) to be held July 16 - 19 at Georgetown University in Washington, DC. Winners were selected from a pool of qualified candidates of demonstrated ability who show promise for future advancement in radio.

"NABEF's fellowship program is one of a number of programs designed to promote diversity in broadcasting. The NABEF Fellowship Program was developed to promote diversity by increasing the pool of qualified broadcasters from minority groups who, to date, may not have been fully represented at the management level. The EDP provides attendees professional business skills that prepare them for the next steps in their careers. The course counts towards a station's required number of outreach activities under EEO rules. The EDP will be held July 16 - 19, 2005 at Georgetown University.
