Program Curriculum

Gain Applicable Skills Outside of the Classroom

This extensive program consists of three two-day in-person sessions, two to three online sessions per semester, one-on-one mentoring with a broadcast executive, a high-stakes pitch competition and an exclusive broadcasting career fair.

With a faculty of top executives and CEOs of major media companies, you will gain exposure to what it takes to succeed in the broadcasting industry. Our elite faculty will share their knowledge and insights to help set you up for success beyond the classroom. Program topics include:

  • Introduction/overview of the media business
  • Integrated media campaigns
  • Day in the life of an account executive
  • Presentation tips
  • Business communications and etiquette skills
  • Television and/or radio station visits
