The program is provided in partnership with the National Association of Broadcasters Leadership Foundation as part of an effort to grow technical and engineering talent for the industry.

The program, initiated in the Spring 2019 term, has provided technology internship grants to 13 NAB member organizations to date.

Grants for the Spring 2020 term will be provided to the following NAB members:

PILOT and the NAB Leadership Foundation remain committed to assisting NAB member stations in attracting the best and brightest new candidates to a career in broadcast technology.”

NAB Leadership Foundation President Michelle Duke added, “The NAB Foundation is happy to provide opportunities with PILOT for students in the broadcast technology and engineering fields. Our intent is to continue to expand the pool of talent for our industry.”

The program seeks to help NAB members that do not currently offer engineering or media-technology internships.
